Underwriting Staff

Job Description

· Perform policy data entry and policy inforce processes using the Care System.

· Conduct policy acceptance processes.

· Print and issue insurance policies.

· Review business submissions from the Marketing team in accordance with the delegated authority and approval limits of the Branch Office or Head Office.

· Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any major

· Minimum 1 year of experience as an Underwriter in a General Insurance Company.

· Strong understanding of underwriting processes and the ability to perform underwriting analysis.

· Proficient in using the Care System and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

· Good knowledge of insurance products.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Fast learner, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

· Preferably domiciled in Batam and willing to be placed at the Batam Branch Office.
