In an effort to prevent the wider spread of Covid-19, MAG Insurance and Dompet Dhuafa have synergized and worked together to provide 92 Covid‑19 prevention facilities, consisting of 38 disinfectant booths and 54 hand‑washing facilities.
The ninety-two facilities have been placed in various locations prone to the spread of Covid-19, in places where many people meet and gather for quite a duration of time, such as groceries and traditional markets, schools, terminals, stations, places of worship and other public places. This is a form of MAG Insurance’s concern and care to prevent the spreading of Covid-19 and as a form of gratitude in the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia 75th anniversary of independence.
Starting on Monday (24/8/2020), the 92 facilities were gradually installed in a number of public places in the Greater Jakarta and East Java areas. Given that these two regions have been the areas with the highest Covid-19 exposure in Indonesia.
For the installation of disinfectant booths and hand‑washing facilities in the Jabodetabek area, there were a total of 67 units, each consisting of 28 units of disinfectant booths and 39 units of hand‑washing facilities. And for the East Java region there were a total of 25 units, each consisting of 10 units of disinfectant booths and 15 units of hand‑washing facilities.
